A remix of Chronic Sonata’s “Wise” that I made a number of years back with my friend Marihito Ayabe of the Japan-cum-Brooklyn cult dub band Chimp Beams has finally been released on a 7” by Mari’s label - Concent. It’s a hard hitting echocentric work-out - a poor man’s Adrian Sherwood meeting ESG at Goya Distribution springs to mind. But that analogy doesn’t even make any sense.
