1. COLM K & THE FREESTYLE MELLOWSHIP - DANCING SKULLS - BSTRD BOOTS 10”
This was really my tune of the year, and not just because we put it out. A perfectly deep 105 BPM disco dub groover from Ireland’s Colm K. with Delroy Wilson’s heavenly vocals atop make it appropriate in so many situations.

Gotta give it up to my man Yosaku, putting together one of the best mixes I’ve heard in months with this “Vice-Grip” guest set he did for Studio 51. Put together with plenty of jaw-dropping tempo changes, effects and dubs… and mixed entirely in key. Dude really put the work in, and it shows.
